| Subject: Chaning JDK path to your own to run client! Mon Oct 03, 2011 11:23 pm | |
| If you are having problems with running the client, here is why. Thanks for Dn Angel, he informed me that when we Compiled client and ran it, we ran with jdk7. Most people don't have jdk7, they have other jdk versions, so here is a guide on changing it to your version so it can be ran on your computer. First, right click the run.bat for your system. (32 bit or 64 bit) Then click edit, or open with... and open it with notepad. Once you open it, you should see something like this... Edit the "jdk7" to whatever version of java you have. If it still doesn't work after you save it, you may have to change the (x86), in some cases you may have to delete it, all depends what folder you installed your java in, and for most 32 bit's you won't be able to have (x86). I hope this helps somewhat if you have had problems getting the client to work. If you have any questions, PLEASE ask and we will help you fix it! | |
